How we started

South Dakota reaches from prairie and farm fields across the Missouri River to the Badlands and the Black Hills. Cattle country, harvests, rodeos and long drives between communities are part of how we know it. We started Our South Dakota Times because this landscape, and the lives lived across it, call for reporting that keeps the whole state in view.
