BOSTON, June 28 (Nationwide Times) — A duck boat overturned Saturday near the Charles River entrance in Cambridge, Massachusetts, injuring at least six people in a busy Boston-area sightseeing corridor, authorities said.

Cambridge police said the tour boat was carrying 32 people when it turned on its side near a boat ramp on Museum Way by Education Street. Police spokesman Bob Reardon said Cambridge Fire accounted for everyone aboard and that none of the passengers ended up in the water.

Authorities gave differing injury counts. Cambridge police said some of the injuries were minor and two were more serious. Boston EMS separately said 11 people were injured and one had serious injuries.

Massachusetts State Police said it would lead the investigation. Officials did not immediately say what caused the overturn, and the agency said the circumstances of the incident were still being reviewed.
